Fraserburgh Junior Arts Society is delighted with the level of support from the local community who turned out last Tuesday to audition for this year’s pantomime.
An FJAS spokesperson told the Herald: “There was a large turnout at the FJAS panto auditions ranging in age from first year in the academy to some well past the first flush of youth.
“In total 169 hopefuls came along; and with the standard extremely high, sadly, there are not enough parts for everyone.
“The team had a very hard task whittling down the numbers.
“Many thanks to all who took the trouble to audition and sorry if you weren’t successful this time, but remember, there will be other chances in future years.”
