A Broch community group has raised £440 towards purchasing a Christmas tree for the town centre by selling Fraserburgers.
Fraserburgh Community Church raised the money at the Super Saturday event on August 8 before donating it to the Christmas tree fund.
Kevin Duthie, the Pastor at Fraserburgh Community Church said: “All the team from the church are glad to help with the Christmas Tree Fund as we feel this is important for the local community.
“We enjoy providing the burger stall and supporting Super Saturdays.”
The church have been involved with Super Saturdays since they started in 2013 and their burger stall is extremely popular with the profit always being donated to a charity or other good cause.
Teresa McCallion, Super Saturday Coordinator said: ““We are really grateful to Kevin and his team as this donation will go a long way to ensuring the Broch has a Christmas Tree over the festive season”
