A Fraserburgh family have taken part in a Royal Guard of Honour at Windsor Castle to celebrate the Queen's 90th birthday.
The Cheetham family, Jacqueline, Andy and eight-year-old Emily attended the event organised by the Fell Pony Society of which they are active members.
Jacqueline said: "With the help of some generous local sponsorship we made our epic 1864km journey to Windsor with Fell Ponies - 18-year-old Greenholme Kirstie and her homebred daughter 8-year-old Boyndlie Black Rose.
"We camped in the private grounds of Windsor castle before joining a spectacular cavalcade of rare breed Fell ponies and riders resplendent in red shirts, led by Queens favourite riding pony."
The Queen inspected 130 ponies from all over Britain during the event on July 17 but only three from Scotland.
Jacqueline said: "It was a once in a lifetime experience."
