The future arrangements for meetings of the Banff and Buchan Area Committee in Fraserburgh is due to be discussed on Tuesday, June 17.
The area committee had originally held their Fraserburgh meetings in the Council Chambers, Saltoun Square, before councillors voted to find a new venue until the Chambers were improved.
Meetings were moved the Community and Sports Centre for a trial period of six months in the meantime.
Work on the Council Chambers, however, is not expected to work until the first quarter of 2015, problems highlighted with the venue as it stands including those related to access, toilet provision, and the lack of space and inappropriate arrangements for a ‘public gallery’.
The report before councillors on Tuesday asks them to agree upon an appropriate venue for future area committee meetings in Fraserburgh.
