Dr Nitin Maheshwari, Dr Robert Murray and Practice Manager Caroline Ironside of Crimond Medical Centre have been presented with a Dermlite Carbon Dermoscope - to the value of £600 - by Helen Matson, wife of the late Dave Matson.
The Dermoscope can be used to examine skin lesions close up, allowing the early detection of skin cancer.
This donation came from the collection taken at the late Dave Matson’s funeral.
Dave Matson was a well known local figure, having worked for Score Group PLC for many years as Group Contracts Manager.
He was one of the leading figures who worked to bring about the building of the new Health Complex at Crimond, which will include a new medical centre, pharmacy, café, dentist and gym.
The doctors and staff at Crimond are most grateful for the generosity shown by Helen Matson and her family.
