A monthly market festival will return to Fraserburgh this July with the theme for this instalment revolving around keeping fit.
Super Saturdays will host Get Fit Fraserburgh in the town centre on July 9 with a host of local sports clubs getting involved in the event.
A Super Saturdays spokesperson said: “Do you want to get fitter or are you keen to see what some of our local sports clubs get up to?
“Then the next Super Saturday is for you.”
Fraserburgh FC in the Community will be there on the day with their young footballers as will Fraserburgh Storm, the town’s basketball team containing some young Scottish internationalists.
Other clubs will have stalls where you can find out more about what they offer and Fraserburgh Fitness Centre also be on hand.
Fiona Stott will be doing demos in Boogie Bounce and Zumba Gold while the Sports Arena and the Climbing Wall will be available all day.
Playbarn Nursery will be running the Saturday Shack where you can see the healthy snacks they make.
There will also be the usual Super Saturday stalls and a few new ones and entertainment will be provided by popular local duo M2 and DJ Paul Hendrie.
The spokesperson said: “Super Saturdays could not happen without the support of Aberdeenshire council, all our volunteers and you, the public so come along and keep supporting us.
“It’s going to be super.”
In January it was confirmed that Super Saturdays will run for at least another two years.
