It’s time to get into the festive spirit with the National Trust for Scotland’s Fyvie Castle Christmas Fair on November 30 and December 1.
Celine Mutch, senior assistant for functions and events at Fyvie Castle said: “Come and enjoy an atmospheric start to the festive season at Fyvie Castle.
“Santa will be here to hear the children’s Christmas wishes while mum and dad can enjoy a glass of mulled wine in the billiards room.”
The Naughty Elf and the Christmas Fairy will also be there – Stephen the ranger will be on hand helping with some Christmas Crafts.
The fair will also include live Christmas entertainment with the Fyvie Community choir in the Music Gallery, Christmas treats in the castle’s tearoom and the shop will be open with a wide range of Christmas decorations, cards and gifts, Christmas Craft Fair and gift stands in the Racquets Court.
The fair will run from 12 noon until 4pm.
Admission will cost £4 for adults and £2 for children and all are welcome to go along and join in the festive fun.
Meanwhile, The Three Harps of Christmas will be performed at Fyvie Castle on Tuesday, December 17.
This unique evening focuses on traditional carols arranged for Ruth Wall’s three harps by award winning composer Graham Fitkin.
Internationally renowned harpist Ruth Wall takes her audience on a candlelit journey through carols and medieval music on her three harps.
Ruth’s UK tour comes to the beautiful Fyvie Castle on Tuesday, December 17, and will be introduced by composer Graham Fitkin.
The performance begins at 7pm and runs until 10pm.
