A brave eleven-year-old boy has had his head shaved in aid of CLAN in Fraserburgh.
Aaron James decided to have his head shaved to raise funds for the cancer charity as his uncle is currently battling the disease.
Aaron visited Men’s Style in Fraserburgh recently for the sponsored haircut along with his granny and grandfather, Maureen and James Smart. They were welcomed by hairdresser Brenda Wallace, who was responsible for shaving Aaron’s hair for the fund-raising challenge.
Thanks to Aaron’s efforts, the Rosehearty School pupil has raised nearly £800 for CLAN.
Commenting before the head shave, Aaron said: “I’m a bit nervous about getting my head shaved but I’m pleased to be raising money for charity.”
Aaron’s grandfather, James, commented: I’m very proud of Aaron, he’s my wee hero.
“He’s very brave. Not many kids that age would do that sort of thing.
“We’re very proud of him.”
