Fraserburgh & District Community Safety Group (FDCSG) are organising a clean of Fraserburgh beach, and are inviting locals to get involved.
Brian Topping, chairperson of FDCSG, who was recently re-elected in a unanimous vote at the group’s annual general meeting, invited “young, old, or middle aged to come along” and clear up what is “such a lovely place”.
Anyone wanting to get involved should meet on Saturday October 3rd at 8.45 for a 9.00am start in the town’s Seashore Centre.
There will be a barbecue so that everyone involved can “get a free burger”, as well as laminated certificates for assisting the community.
The FDCSG are working with Fraserburgh Scouts to organise the event, and Mr Toppinig wished to thank the scout’s Jim Kirkwood for his work.
