With thoughts turning to New Year’s Resolutions what better way to start a healthy 2013 than by signing up for the popular fundraiser, which has raised thousands of pounds for Cancer Research.

Registration for the June event will start on Sunday, January 20, with a launch event to be held from 12 noon until 2pm at Fraserburgh’s new Community and Sports Centre on Maconochie Place.

“This is a wonderful opportunity for ladies to register for the 2013 Prowl challenge and to take a first glimpse at the fabulous new facilities which Fraserburgh now has to offer.”

This year’s Moonlight Prowl will take place on Saturday, June 1, and participants can also register on line at

In 2012 the Moonlight Prowl attracted hundreds of women to the streets of Fraserburgh, raising funds in one of the most successful event’s to-date.

It is hoped that more women than ever will sign up for the 2013 event, raising even more cash in the battle against breast cancer.

Since its inception in 2006 the Moonlight Prowl has raised in excess of £600k for important Breast Cancer research and it is expected that in 2013 more than 1,000 ladies dressed in pink will take to the streets of Fraserburgh to further show their support for this very important cause.

Anyone interested in joining the battle against cancer is invited to go along on Sunday and sign up for the 2013 Prowl.
