Strichen residents turned out in droves to support the annual May Day Fun Day which was once again held at the Mormond Inn in the village.
The afternoon of family fun featured live music and a range of activities - including a bouncy castle and the ever-popular duck race.
The duck race was held in aid of Strichen Playgroup, with other proceeds going to Strichen Rainbows and the Strichen Mother and Toddlers Group.
There was live music from a number of acts, including Ronz, Thumb It In Saft, Half Cut, Dan Leckie, Transmission, Julie Ann McCambridge, Mark and Stine, Jonny and the Hat, and 3 Cheers for Angus.
There were further activities for children and families such as face painting, soft play, glitter tattoos, balloon modelling, stalls, a barbeque, ice cream and raffles.
