A plan has been presented to Aberdeenshire Council for, in principle, a major new hotel and leisure complex in the grounds of Crimonmogate.
The proposal, which was submitted to planners in November by Architect CT of Manchester on behalf of Argyle Trust Ltd, would see the redevelopment and alterations to existing land and buildings at Crimonmogate to form a hotel “within the existing outbuildings of Crimonmogate”.
In a historic statement accompanying the planning proposal, it is said: “Architect CT has been appointed to provide a design for the redevelopment and alterations to form a new 5 star hotel within the existing outbuildings of Crimonmogate grounds.
“The hotel is to comprise of 22 suites, with a number of accommodating families and disabled guest, restaurant, together with spa and leisure facilities.”
Consultations were due on December 28.
Members of the public have until January 7 to comment on the proposal.
