Over the coming weekend, commencing Friday, September 7, officers from the Buchan Local Policing Team based at Mintlaw will be holding community surgeries in the mobile Police office at New Deer, New Pitsligo, Strichen, St Combs, St Fergus, Maud and Stuartfield.
The mobile office will be at the following locations on these dates:
Friday, September 7 - 6.30pm to 8pm - Main Street, New Deer; 8.15pm to 9.15pm - High Street, New Pitsligo; 9.30pm to 11pm - Bridge Street, Strichen
Saturday, September 8 - 7pm to 8.15pm - West Street, St Combs; 8.30pm to 9.15pm - School Road, St Fergus.
Sunday, September 9 - 6.30pm to 7.45pm - Deer Road, Maud at surgery carpark; 8pm to 9.15pm - The Square, Stuartfield.
Sergeant Reynolds, stationed at Mintlaw said: “I am delighted to again be able to deploy the Mobile Police Office to our smaller communities in response to requests made by the public who live in the area.
“The mobile office was deployed earlier in the summer and the feedback we received from residents was very positive.
“Deploying the office in the smaller villages gives members of those communities the opportunity to come and discuss any issues they may have with an officer,” he added.
