Staff and pupils at Westfield School are delighted with their new mini bus.
The mini bus arrived on Friday, May 20, and was put to use straight away transporting pupils to a four-day residential course at the Sir Arthur Grant Residential Centre in Monymusk .
The 15-seater mini bus has been specially adapted to accommodate two wheelchairs ensuring that every class at Westfield will be able to utilise this resource to enrich the pupils’ educational experience.
Head teacher, Susan Stewart told the Herald: “We all really appreciate everything the local community have done to support us.
“There have been so many generous donations from local people and organisations. We would never have managed to obtain this mini bus without this support, it’s absolutely brilliant, thank you.”
