Do you fancy following in the footsteps of many and taking on the mighty Loch Ness Marathon or the River Ness 10k to raise funds for charity? If you do, then why not sign up for one of the MS Society’s charity places in this amazing festival of events.
The Loch Ness Marathon, taking place on Sunday, September 30, will take you on a break taking journey along the south eastern shores of the beautiful and picturesque Loch Ness. You can be part of our growing team of MS Superstars and raise funds for the MS Society.
Multiple sclerosis (MS) is the most common disabling neurological condition affecting young adults. Every pound raised from this event goes to supporting the MS Society’s work, which enables everyone affected by MS to live life to the full and secure the care and support they need, until ultimately, we find a cure.
Sarah Farquhar, area fundraiser (North of Scotland) for the MS Society said: “We are delighted to have a strong team of MS Superstars taking on the Loch Ness Marathon and festival of events in September and raising both funds and awareness of the MS Society.
“If anyone would like to support a worthwhile cause and raise funds by running in this great event.”
Proper training for any race distance is extremely important and the MS Society team is there to help runners. For more information or to register visit www.mssociety.org.uk/lochness
