Serious Road Traffic Collision

Grampian Police are appealing for witnesses following a single vehicle road collision which occured about 11:00pm on Monday 5 March 2012, on the B9031 Gardenstown to Banff road.

As a result, the 36 year old female driver and sole occupant of a black Seat Toledo was removed from the vehicle by Grampian Fire and Rescue and conveyed to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary by Ambulance.

Her condition is described as serious but stable.

Inspector Neil Morrison, Road Policing Department said, “Our enquiries are continuning in order to establish why this vehicle came to leave the road. I would appeal for anyone who may have witnessed the incident and who has not already been in touch to do so as soon as possible.”
