A Tesco spokesman told the Herald: “In total tesco staff raised £855.35 in one day and would like to express their sincere thanks for the generosity of everyone. So far this year Tesco staff have raised £2565.74 including the money raised during our popular show Tesco’s Got Talent! which we will be holding again next year.
“We would like to thank Fraserburgh Fire Station for the use of their equipment and the firemen for their support in our recent event, also Motorparts Fraserburgh for their donation of car shampoo, tesco staff and their families who attended and everyone who came along to get their car washed, and donated our charity.”
Following the success of last fun day which raised money for Clic Sargent, staff at Tesco are again organising a big fun day.
The spokesman coninued: “Our big fun day will be held on Saturday September 10 at the store, when there will be lots to see and do for everyone.
“Why not come along and see “Inferno”, the local fire troupe, local dancers, get your face painted, splash tesco staff with water bombs, there will also be raffles and homebakes as well as a barbecue where people can enjoy something to eat.”
