The voting phone number will be advertised on the People’s Millions website (www.peoplesmillions.org.uk) and in the Daily Mirror on the day.
A short video about the project will be shown on the ITV regional news between 6pm and 6.30pm.
Jackie Killeen, Director, Big Lottery Fund in Scotland said: “The highly imaginative range of projects shortlisted for The People’s Millions this year really will enable local lives to be changed by the viewing public.
“While it will undoubtedly present a challenge for the public to decide which good cause to choose, the end result is certain to benefit communities in need.
“We want to encourage everyone to show their support for the projects which capture their imagination, as every single vote counts!”
Backing the Modo bid, Councillor Stephen Smith said: “Theatre Modo has staged some truly breathtaking events in the Buchan area over the past few years. The young people involved have performed magnificently and have been rewarded with huge turnouts of people to witness their efforts. “
