Willows Animal Sanctuary will be hosting a family fun day on Saturday, August 27 from 11am until 5pm.
The santuary, situated between Strichen and New Pitsligo, will be staging a children’s tombola, Pick-a-Duck, face painting, lucky dip raffle and bottle stall.
You could also win a hamper in a ‘Lucky Square’ contest and also win sponsorship for a year of one of the sanctuary’s animals.
Of course, there will be the scrummy homebakes and preserve stall and a sales table featuring lots of goodies.
There’s also a licensed raffle and a new ‘White Elephant Stall’ so who knows what you might find on there, and Leeanne’s Jewellery will have an array of items for sale.
Sue Edwards of the Willows fundraising group, said: “Our New Living History event will be open, and that means a chance to explore a page of history through this, to find out what the people wore and ate, and how they lived.
“Discover what knights at that time wore when they went into battle, and see the weapons they used and many more pieces of information from Medieval times.
“We are hoping that lots of people will come along and support the animals at Willows, and enjoy yourselves, as I am sure there will be something for everyone!”
