Local group One Voice for the Kids travelled to Edinburgh earlier this month to spread their message concerning child abuse in the United Kingdom.
On Tuesday, March 6, One Voice’s CEO, Sam Edwards, led the Fraserburgh team down to the capital where he spoke via megaphone to a gathered crown about his concerns.
Also at the event were invited guests to tell of their experiences.
Broadcast online at the group’s website, www.onevoicefothekids.org.uk, the protest simultaneously took place in up to 38 other countries.
Mr Edwards had earlier told the Fraserburgh Herald that residents from countries including the United States, Canada, Tunisia, Germany, Ghana, and Australia had announced their intention to protest on the day.
