Sixteen-year-old Amy-Jo Bellany, has competed in the Scottish Schools finals since she was 11-years-old and a pupil at Fraserburgh South Park School.
Over the years she had achieved a fantastic haul of nine medals to give her a place, as one of the Broch’s finest ever swimmers.
This year was Amy-Jo’s final year at the competition and she was hoping that she would gain another medal in either the 200m or 100m Breastroke.
Although she swam well in her 200m, she failed to make the medal places so it was down to the 100m. Amy-Jo swam well ending up getting third place as well as getting a PB at the same time!
“Well done Amy-Jo, you’ve worked hard and accomplished so much,” said her coach.
