Fraserburgh recorded a comfortable victory over Fort William in the end, but it took them until the 75th minute to seal the win against a stubborn Fort side.
Just as at Huntly last week, they got off to a good start with a goal from Willie West on 12 minutes.
The Broch controlled much of the first-half, but couldn’t find a way past a solid Fort rearguard for a second goal and it remained 1-0 at half-time.
Fraserburgh continued to have the lion’s share of possession in the second-half, but it took a goal from the penalty spot to secure all 3 points with fifteen minutes remaining. Top scorer Scott Barbour converted the penalty to make it 2-0.
It was that man Scott Barbour again who made it 3-0 on 88 minutes, rounding off the scoring and putting the game beyond the reach of Fort William.
