The romp sees Farmington move off the bottom of the SWPL table into 10th ahead of Buchan and Queen’s Park.

Goals came from Nicky Grant, Holly Napier, Nicola Davidson and Jade McLaren - all in the second half.

The manager said: “I’m overwhelmed. That’s our first league win of the season, it’s been a long, hard start to it. The girls are playing well in a lot of games but I felt they got their rewards in this game. Once we got our first goal everything just fell into place from there.”

White made three changes to the starting 11 that battered Claremont 9-2 the previous week, with Amy Gallacher, McLaren and Murron White coming in to replace Megan Burns, Caren Webster and Kayleigh Noble while there was a place on the bench for 15-year-old debutant
Sally Patterson.

Farmington had plenty of chances in the first half through Grant, Alana Bruce and Lindsey Dunbar while Buchan also went close through Leanne Reid, but it was to remain goalless
at the interval.

Forfar came out for the second half as strong as they finished the first, tormenting Buchan at every opportunity. Davidson and Gallacher combined well to flick the ball on for Laura Parsley to fire towards the keeper who was able to make the save.

Farmington took the lead in the 53rd minute, Davidson spraying the ball out wide to Parsley who swung in a great ball for Grant to sweep home at the back post for her fourth in two games.

Three minutes later the lead was doubled: another cross, this time from Bruce, was met by a great header from Napier, giving the keeper no chance.

Sixty seconds after that the side had grabbed their third goal in four minutes.

Excellent work from Parsley saw the ball go towards Dunbar who left dummied it for the advancing Davidson, who struck first time from 30 yards, the effort flying into the net with Kennedy nowhere near it.

With 12 minutes remaining Farmington scored again, Napier swinging a free kick in from the left for McLaren to send home with a bullet header - her second of the season.
