The weather was kind for the annual Broch half marathon on Sunday. James Ramsay Park was bursting with colour and energy as 300 runners with the help of their supporters set out to tackle the 13.1 miles of town and country.

After their exertions, a welcome feed was waiting at the new Pool and Community Centre. All in all it was a fantastic advert for the town.

Local runners were well represented with high finishes from Fraserburgh Running Club,; PBs for Fraserburgh Jogscotland not to mention Peterhead Running Club and Peterhead Jogscotland who again supported the event.
