St Drostans keeper Summers had the first of many saves from a James Fraser shot from close range.

From a corner Summers made a point blank save from J Fraser. At the other end Anderson should have put St Drostans ahead after he collided with Pitsligo keeper Simpson he went passed the keeper but went too wide and his cross was cleared. James Fraser had another shot saved by Summers.

Anderson had another great chance for St Drostans but he managed to fire wide of the post. Pitsligo broke clear and it took a great tackle by Harper to keep the score goalless.

Pitsligo then had two corners in quick succession where Rennie headed over and Wisely headed against the post.

Summers then had a remarkable save from a James Fraser shot. Gibby Stephen was next to waste a chance from 6 yards, his left foot shot was fired over the bar. Christie came close to opening the score just before half time but his shot came back off the bar.

A long ball forward by Simpson found Christie who held off his marker but shot straight at Summers. Mitchell was then replaced by Whyte for Pitsligo.

The save of the match came from Summers after a 25 yard shot was heading for the top corner of the net when summers managed to get his finger tips to the ball and push it onto the bar and out.

A Scott Watt shot from outside the box was shot well over the Pitsligo bar. Rennie played in Christie who went round Summers but went too wide and his cross was put out for a throw in which Whyte launched into the St Drostans box but Witt headed clear.

Summers again saved from a long range shot from Michael Fraser.

Scott Watt came to the rescue for St Drostans when he headed off the goal line from a Pitsligo corner.

A Michael Fraser pass split the St Drostans defence and Gibby Stephen went in on goal but Summers came out to make another great save. St Drostans should have taken the lead with 10 minutes to go when Watt went down the left and played in Park who crossed for Anderson but the big striker miss hit his shot wide of the goal. With the game heading into the last five minutes Pitsligo finally beat Summers in the St Drostans goal when Christie collected the ball on the right and crossed for Whyte who drilled the ball home.
