As part of Aberdeenshire Council’s regeneration plan to improve entertainment facilities Dalrymple hall will this month play host to two major Hollywood movies.
Dreamworks “Penguins of Madagascar” and Peter Jacksons epic “The Hobbit: The battle of the five armies” will be shown courtesy of Fraserburgh Junior Arts Society who have been delievering a successful movie programme for many years.
The screenings will be shown on January 17 at 3.30pm and 7pm respectively and access to equipment that ensures the best sound and viewing quality is delivered.
In ‘Penguins of Madagascar’, Skipper, Kowalski, Rico and Private join forces with undercover organisation The North Wind to stop the villainous Dr Octavius Brine from destroying the world as we know it.
In the epic finale ‘The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies’, Biblo and company, as well battling the terrifying Smaug (voiced by Benedict Cumberbatch), find themselves forced into a war against an armed flock of combatants as they try to stop them acquiring a kingdom of treasure.
Tickets are priced at £5.50 for adults and £4.50 for children and concessions. Family tickets (two adults and two children) can be purchased for £18.
