A photographer who has had over 1200 of images accepted into international exhibitions acted as judge in the latest monthly competition for the Fraserburgh Photographic Society.
Neil Scott gave constructive criticism for each of the thirty three images submitted.
He ruled that ‘Surfing’ by Billy Watson was the winner.
Mr Scott described the photograph as ‘a cracking action shot’.
He said: “It’s got just about everything, the power of the sea, the concentration on the surfer’s face.
“And it’s got the movement and all the waves coming together with the surfer on the crest.”
In second place was ‘Lost in the Sand’ by Greig Ward and third place went to Billy Watsons’ ‘Temple Welcome’.
