Two Scottish photographers are to have their work displayed at a new exhibition which is to be launched at the Museum of Scottish Lighthouses on Wednesday, April 16.
Ken Paterson and Robert Thomson travelled to Japan, Italy and the US to follow in the footsteps of the son of Fraserburgh Thomas Blake Glover and capture aspects of his life on camera.
The goal of the journeys was to provide material for a photographic essay for a series entitled ‘In the footsteps of...’.
This series forms part of the Famous Scots project, which aims to inspire and enthuse current and future generations of young Scots with the story of our historical global success.
Commenting, photographer Ken Paterson said: “We look forward to bringing the name of Thomas Blake Glover back home to his native town of Fraserburgh and, in association with the Thomas Blake Glover Foundation, launching the exhibition on a journey around the world.”
