A photography exhibition in Fraserburgh has been hailed as a great success by its organiser.

Artist Paul Woodburn put together an exhibition of his own photographs, which ran from the end of June until September 4 in the Exhibition Room of the town’s Lighthouse Museum.

The photographs on display included land, sea and town scapes. Most of the photos taken were of Fraserburgh and the surrounding Buchan area, with quite a few being taken in Aberdeen.

Paul has been a photographer for 25 years but has specialised in enhanced colour photography for the last 12 years.

Commenting on the exhibition, Paul said: “It went really well. I’m pleased with the feedback which has been terrific.

“It has been great to bring my work to a wider audience. I’m really pleased with the results,” he added.
