A Peterhead man who has been writing poetry for over 30 years has published his first book of poems.
Graham Weir - who has lived in Peterhead all of his life - published ‘50 Shades of Graham’ recently.
The book features poems from the past 30 years and has sold 70 copies already.
Early in his career, Graham was a fisherman but has worked at St Fergus Gas Terminal for the last 20 years.
Graham said: “It gives you a great sense of achievement.
“Some of the poems are sad, some are happy, some are funny, most of them are personal - but they’re all about my experiences of growing up in Peterhead.
“And it’s only through family and friends’ persuasion that they persuaded me to have my poems published.”
Copies of ‘50 Shades of Graham’ can be purchased at Scrogie’s in Peterhead for £7.
