The Fraserburgh Lifeboat crew will be taking a very special passenger ashore this weekend.
They will be picking up Santa at a position just off Fraserburgh Harbour on Saturday (December 12).
Two rockets will be fired to mark Santa’s arrival at the harbour and he will step ashore at the Lifeboat beth at 10.30am.
The Lifeboat crew are inviting everyone along to welcome Santa to the Broch.
Santa’s sleigh will be waiting for him at Fraserburgh Lifeboat Station and he will then be led by Fraserburgh R. B. L. Pipe Band and escorted by the Fraserburgh Lifeboat crew through the town centre on the following route: Kirk Brae, Broad Street, Commerce Street, Cross Street, High Street, and will finish at Broad Street arrving at his magical Grotto in Cheers Cafe Bar & Tavern were children of all ages can visit him.
Meanwhile the annual Boxing Day Swim is scheduled to take place on Saturday, December 26 at 12 noon.
This will be the eighth swim event for the Fraserburgh Lifeboat Station in support of the RNLI SOS fundraising appeal.
