Invercairn Gala gets underway from Sunday, July 31 to Saturday, August 6 - and it’s set to be a week of bumper fun for all ages.
The fun gets underway on Sunday, July 31 with Invercairn Gala Praise at the community hall at 3pm with Mark Hines.
On Monday. August 1, there will be a children’s treasure trail, starting from the marquee at 6pm. There will be a family horse racing night on Tuesday, August 2, at 8.30pm.
Junior bingo will be held on Wednesday, August 3 in the maqrquee at 2pm - £1 per book. This will be followed by a quiz night, also in the marquee, at 7pm (including licensed bar). Entry is £2.50 per person with a maximum of six per team. Pay at the door on the night. The family entertainment continues at 9.45pm with Garry Seagraves magicia
Thursday, August 4 will see a junior disco in the marquee from 3.30pm to 5.30pm with £1.50 entry and a prize bingo at 8pm.
Folowing the bingo join Brian Topping’s sounds of the lastest hits with a disco.
A fancy dress parade will get underway on Friday, August 5 at 6pm in the school grounds, then parade up to the tent with the flute band Live music will be provided in the marquee from 9pm.
The gala finale takes place in the playing fields at 1pm, with a host of attractions. Later that night you can dance the night away in the marquee with live music from Waterfront. Ticket only event.
