The Café at Aden Park in Mintlaw is to join forces with the Aden Cinema initiative to offer visitors an enjoyable Indian-inspired evening of food and filmthis weekend.

Film goers will be treated with the heart-warming sequel ‘The Second Best Exotic Marigold Hotel’, complemented by a curry by The Café at Aden on Saturday, July 4, at Aden Country Park.

The Indian-inspired evening starts at 5pm in The Café at Aden where a menu of coconut chicken and vegetarian curry, basmati rice, naan and raita will be offered.

This will be followed by lemon pot with shortbread and berry compote, followed by tea, coffee and fudge. There is also the opportunity to have a drink with you meal through the Bring Your Own Bottle scheme.

The evening continues at 7.30pm in the Aden Theatre, within the Aberdeenshire Farming Museum, where the critically acclaimed ‘The Second Best Exotic Marigold Hotel’ will be shown.

Tickets for the food and film event are £20 each, alternatively if you just want to see the film tickets are £5 each, and can either be bought online or from the Aden Craft & Gift Shop in the Aden Country Park.

Due to the limited size of The Café at Aden, and Aden Theatre it is advised to purchase tickets ahead of performance to avoid disappointment.

“The recently refurbished Café at Aden already offers a great selection of food all year round and this Indian inspired menu will certainly not disappoint.”
