Following the success of two previous cinema events in December 2013 and April 2014, Fraserburgh Junior Arts Society is hosting another day of special screenings this month.
On Friday, July 11, the Dalrymple Hall and Arts Centre in Fraserburgh will host showings of ‘Postman Pat: The Movie’ at 3:30pm and ‘X:Men – Days of Future Past’ at 7pm.
The Fraserburgh Junior Arts Society has worked with Aberdeenshire Council’s Regeneration Action Plan to put together the screenings and equipment and distribution of the movies is being handled by Film Mobile Scotland.
Fraserburgh Junior Arts Society has been delighting audiences with pantomimes, plays, musicals and variety theatre and has also been involved in all the major community events in Fraserburgh throughout the years.
Their vision for cinema will now provide something for families of all ages to enjoy during the start of summer at affordable prices.
Fraserburgh Junior Arts Society is distributing tickets, which are available at Dalrymple Hall, Fraserburgh and R & S Dyga, Broad Street, Fraserburgh.
Only 200 tickets are available for each movie so prospective cinema goers will have to move fast.
Tickets are priced at £5.50 for adults and £4.50 for children and other concessions.
On Sunday, July 13, the Dalrymple Hall will play host to the annual jazz lunch, tickets available from R & S Dyga at £15 each. The Atholl Smith Jazz Band are set to perform.
