Solicitor takes APA chairman role

Aberdeen solicitor and performer Craig Pike has landed a new leading role in the performing arts scene in Aberdeen.

For he has been elected as the next chairman of the board governing Aberdeen Performing Arts (APA) – the company which runs His Majesty’s Theatre, the Music Hall, The Lemon Tree and Aberdeen Box Office.

He will take over when the current chairman, Dr Graeme Roberts steps down in November at the end of his term of office.

The appointment was made this week (Monday) by the board which is also looking to recruit four new board members to replace long-serving directors who are standing down.
