Treat mum to an enjoyable day out this Mother’s Day with the annual Aden Country Park Mother’s Day Country Fair.
There will be a range of activities, facilities and stalls on offer including a good mix of craft and farmer’s market stalls.
The event takes place on Sunday, March 10, from 11am to 4pm, in the beautiful surroundings of Aden Country Park in Mintlaw.
Traders at the Country Fair will include handcrafted jewellery, leather and tartan goods, locally made preserves, fruit and veg, rapeseed oils, fudge and Scottish tablet, top quality meat, and cool stuff for kids including children’s gifts, clothing, sweets and toys.
Other activities include a rural heritage fair, music, performance, rare breed animals, bike road show, bouncy castle, access to the Aberdeenshire Farming Museum, and the ever popular children’s play area.
There will also be a chance to shop in the Aden Craft and Gift Shop which offers a unique selection of locally made arts and crafts, including cards, bags, scarfs, and jewellery as well as a range of books, music, souvenirs, and children’s toys, all at fair
Neil Shirran the Aden Country Park Development Worker said “Building on the success of last year’s event this should prove to be a great day out for all the family.
“We’ve got a great range of stalls this year, so if you think mum is in need spoiling why not treat her for a day out in Aden, there’s something for everyone.”
The event will also be complemented by the Aden Café which will also offer a special Mother’s Day Afternoon Tea. Tables will be set in fine crockery and cutlery with white table linen, table decorations and a pink floral theme to celebrate mothering Sunday.
The event is being organised as part of the Buchan Feeling Good Festival, Rural Heritage Fair, and the Aden Bike Challenge (a cycling event from Peterhead to Aden Country Park).
