June’s Super Saturday event saw the town centre become a hive of activity, a buzz in the air as visitors and locals took part in the fishing themed event.
Kicking off at 10am on July 12, the next Super Saturday will be sports themed, organisers welcoming all to come along and try some of the many activities available on Fraserburgh’s doorstep.
As well as the return of the climbing wall, various street sport activities will be available in Saltoun Square, the Fraserburgh Link Up under 8s team showing off their footballing skills.
Town centre cafes and restaurants, meanwhile, will add to the continental atmosphere with outdoor table service.
This months children’s quiz, meanwhile, can be downloaded from the Fraserburgh Super Saturdays Facebook page or picked up on the day from the Saturday Shack.
Restaurateur William Amps of Heath Hill Hotel will be making a return to this month’s Super Saturday with his all-day cooking demonstration, as well as local chef Kipras Preidys who will be presenting a three-course fish-based menu with locally sourced ingredients.
Elsewhere, the community engagement team from Aberdeenshire Council will be hosting a consultation to give out information and gauge opinion on the possibility of a conservation area within Fraserburgh’s town centre.
The Conservation Area Regeneration Scheme and Town Heritage Initiative are funding schemes aimed at attracting financial investment to protect and repair historical and significant properties.
Also look out for the Super Saturday promotions map which will allow shoppers to claim fantastic offers from Fraserburgh’s shops, cafes, restaurants and museums.
