a new season of behind-the-scenes tours of Aberdeen’s historic His Majesty’s Theatre.
The Saturday morning 75-minute tours will be held at 10:30am on January 26, February 9 and 16, March 2, 9, 16, 23 and 30, and April 6, 20 and 27.
There will be an additional tour from 11.30am on three Saturdays – March 23, March 30 and April 20.
Numbers are limited to only 20 people per tour, on a first-come-first-served basis.
Under the guidance of enthusiastic and knowledgeable volunteers, visitors can explore His Majesty’s modern £7.8 million extension as well as the 100-year-old original building, designed by the legendary theatre architect Frank Matcham.
Subject to availability, tours costs £5 (£3 concession) and can be booked through Aberdeen Box Office online at www.boxofficeaberdeen.com, at the Music Hall or His Majesty’s Theatre or by phone on 01224 641122. They are subject to availability and sell out very quickly.
